ABOUT ME
My name is Faith Honeybee Setley.
I am a female, British, 3D, mixed media, special effects artist who creates with her fingers a good deal of the time.
My artistic journey started at age 4, making chalk drawings on my parents tile floor under the encouraging eye of my Mum, who was a visionary and artistic woman herself.
An incredible force and influence in my life was also my Nan. Silver Cross Mum to the boys in the war she was as well as a painter and talented poet..
Both these ladies were powerful examples of just how life should be lived…love should be given…and how any abilities one is lucky enough to be graced with, should be used to edify..lift up…and to love and help bless others.
Proceeds from some of my work I donate to those in need and I often work with charities to create pieces of art that they can auction off to help others all they can. Like the piece I just recently did for the Special Olympics fund raising charity.
I create a vast array of paintings, drawings and sketches, sculpture, photography, wood burning and much more.
My subjects include almost anything from the realistic to the whimsical. Portraits of people as well as animals, landscapes, water scapes, vehicles, architecture, abstracts, nature, fantasy, still life, war memorials and even creating paintings that look aged from photos of days gone by.
Photography is also part of my career and I have been hired on occasion to do scenic photo shoots.
I have a line of canvas prints done up and available of both my art and my photography work as well as mugs, sculpture, post cards and all occasion blank cards. New products are coming in the near future.
